Opening day: the procedures

Opening day is the spring visit when a drained shore house gets its water, hot water and outdoor shower back, in that order.

Work through these five procedures in order on the first spring visit. The water goes on slowly, leaks are found before guests arrive, and the water heater is only powered once its tank is full. Plan a full day, and stay in the house for at least an hour after the main is open.
