Columbus Day to Thanksgiving

Closing day: the procedures

Closing day is the fall visit when a shore house is either kept heated or fully drained for winter, and the plumber does the parts that need a licence.

Decide heat-on or fully drained first (CD-5), then work through the rest. Your part is the shutoff and drain-down; compressed-air blowout, antifreeze in traps and draining a gas water heater are the licensed plumber's part.
